LWV of McDonough County to Host March 1st Forum for Candidates
MACOMB, IL – A Candidate forum will be held on Wednesday, March 1, at 7:00pm in the Macomb High School library for candidates running in the April election – Mayor, City Clerk, City Treasurer, Aldermen at Large and for Wards 1, 3, and 4, as well as members of the school board, park board and library board.
This event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of McDonough County and will be live streamed on the Leagues’ Facebook page.
Starting March 6, the program will be shown on channel 15 daily until the election. The schedule can be found at cityofmacomb.com/channel15. Attendees at the event March 1 may submit questions to the candidates in contested races.
